Pallium is a national, non-profit organization focused on building professional and community capacity to help improve the quality and accessibility of palliative care in Canada. They are a community of clinicians, educators, researchers, carers, administrators, volunteers, Indigenous leaders, and citizen advocates working together to accelerate the integration of palliative care in Canadian communities and health care systems. Pallium was founded in Canada, by Canadians, and in service to Canadian health care professionals, patients and families, and communities.

I am Pallium Canada's first certified facilitator of their extraordinary program, Compassion in the Workplace, designed to help companies improve their ‘care culture’ by proactively supporting those among us who are caregiving, grieving, or living with a serious illness.

Ally Salama

Founder & CEO

"Working with Abridge Consulting over the past year as a mental health consultant, I am honored to continuously be learning from a pioneer in the market. Tara's careful approach towards workplace wellbeing is unlike any other in the field. A highly reliable individual and a great team player, Abridge Consulting is EMPWR's go-to favorite with clients' requests around all things workplace mental health."

Tara completed 10 sessions of The Working Mind for our teams for both Managers and Employees programs. Tara’s approach to mental health, her extensive knowledge, humbleness, and ability to build rapport with a variety of different people is unique. The feedback on Tara’s teaching style and overall on TWM program have been overwhelmingly positive. Tara and I planned a Mental Health Basics Townhall in honor of Mental Health Awareness Week in May 2022. More than 130 Rohitians attended with a very positive turnaround. Tara and I also planned a debrief following the townhall to encourage the managers to touchbase with their teams and normalize mental health discussions. We are very grateful for Tara’s support and knowledge and looking forward to our continuous future mental health learning experiences with her.  I highly recommend Tara for all organizations willing to take a differentiated approach to mental health, as one of the most talented, passionate, and knowledgeable mental health educators in Canada.
